Stark-Fleet Academy is adding Madison flight training to our service—Private Pilot, IFR, Commercial, and CFI flight training, too! We are excited to expand into Madison, WI, Middleton Municipal Airport. At only 928 feet above sea level, aircraft performance is terrific! With cool temperatures and relatively low humidity, flight training is a joy.
We offer the same great prices and go-at-your-own-pace flight training schedules. We are open every day of the year, and a CFI is always available. We provide state-of-the-art G3X 10.6-inch touchscreen avionics with a GFC 500 three-axis autopilot, full SXM radio, and weather.
On board is a portable Stratus Wi-Fi to receive a Foreflight/Garmin Pilot, weather, and traffic on your portable device.
Our aircraft has WAAS and ADSB-IN/OUT capabilities and is an excellent IFR flying platform!
We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and flexible training schedules. We support a diverse employee and customer base, and everyone is welcome.
In addition, we offer airplane rides and short air tours within 25 miles of the Madison State Capitol and surrounding area. Teens 15.5 years or older may begin their private pilot flight training. The students first solo at 16 and license at 17. Discovery or Intro to Flight sessions may be scheduled as early as 12 years old.
